Hopelink — during the Holidays they are really in need of gifts for Teens!

 

 

Page Ahead — literacy program for kids.  Looking for NEW books year round.

Wellspring Family Services — offering a Holiday Toy room for homeless families, the public is invited to bring unwrapped toys, grocery and gift cards to their open house on December 3.

Overlake Service League
Looking for volunteers at the Christmas distribution center. Packing all those donations up for delivery! Fun!

Treehouse for Kids — Exists to help foster kids in King County by providing them the little extras that make childhood memorable for all the right reasons.

There are many, many more and hopefully you can find your favorite place to give this year.

'Tis the Season — our chance to give back
 

It's here! The crazy holiday season is upon us. Like me, I'm sure you get busy with decorating, eating, parties, shopping, eating, and  celebrating with friends and family — which involves more eating.  Another thing I make sure to take time for is to give back to those less fortunate than my family.  

 

I am putting together a two-part Holiday donation program to make it easy for you to help, too!   

 

Part One — November Food Drive:  Non-perishable food collection to donate to Hopelink.  Beginning November 24 (until November 27)  I will pick up non-perishable food left on your front porch (or other designated location) to deliver to Hopelink.  

 

Part Two — December Book Drive: NEW children's book collection for Page Ahead — children's literacy program.  Beginning December 16 (until December 19) I will be picking up NEW books left on your front porch (or other designated location) to deliver to Page Ahead.
